- pinch of salt

Homemade Hot Cocoa With Cacao Wafers
First, pour the plant-based milk into a small saucepan or milk frothing pitcher. We are using cashew milk, but you can use any dairy-free milk. Here are a few great options:
- oat milk
- soy milk
- almond milk
- lite coconut milk
Next, add the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cacao wafers. Think of cacao wafers as giant vegan chocolate chips. They are 100% cacao, unsweetened baking chocolate.
