How to Make this Almond Joy Martini Vodka Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Malibu Coconut-flavored rum
- 1 oz Creme de Cacao

- chocolate syrup and shredded coconut flakes to rim the glass
First, gather the ingredients, along with a cocktail shaker, a chilled martini glass, a cocktail jigger, and a strainer. You can grab these items online here:
Martini Recipe Directions
The very first step is to add ice to the cocktail shaker. This almond joy martini recipe is best served chilled.
Using the cocktail jigger pour 1 oz of vodka, and add it to the cocktail shaker.
Next, measure and pour one-ounce coconut rum into the cocktail shaker.
Add one ounce of creme de cacao chocolate-flavored liqueur.
Lastly, add two ounces of the Baileys Almande. This nutty-flavored spirit made with almond milk and vanilla really gives this martini the taste of a chocolate-covered almond.
Secure the top of the cocktail shaker and shake to thoroughly combine the flavors of the vodka, chocolate, almond, and coconut in this Almond Joy Martini Vodka Recipe.
Rim the Martini Glass
We decided to rim the glass with chocolate sauce and coconut flakes. Some like to drizzle chocolate sauce inside the glass. This comes down to personal preferences. Using two small plates, pour a bit of chocolate syrup on one plate, and a handful of coconut flakes on the other.
Carefully, dip the top of the chilled glass in the chocolate. You only need enough for the coconut flakes to stick to.
Next, do the same with the coconut flakes. The prepared cocktail glass is ready!
Using a strainer pour the contents of the shaker into the glass.
This easy cocktail recipe yields one serving. To make more you will need to multiply this almond joy martini vodka recipe by the number of servings that you need.
FAQs and Recipe Variations
This is certainly a versatile drink and can be altered to your liking.
- Can I use hazelnut liqueur? Yes, you can. We did try a variation using Frangelico hazelnut liqueur but opted against using it in this recipe as we found this balance suited our taste buds better.
- What if I can’t find the creme de cacao? If you can’t find the creme de cacao, you can also use Godiva chocolate liqueur instead.
- Can I use coconut cream, coconut milk, or light cream instead of Baileys Almande? Of course, but we prefer the subtle almond flavor from the Baileys and didn’t want to overdo it with the coconut flavor.
- What’s another way to garnish this cocktail? You can drizzle dark chocolate sauce inside the glass or even a few chocolate shavings on top of the drink.
