How to Make a Gingerbread Latte
The first thing you need for this yummy gingerbread latte is coffee. You can make the coffee however you typically make coffee. We are using our Aeropress coffee recipe. You can mix the ingredients in a basic mason jar for the first few steps. Add the blackstrap molasses to the coffee.
Next, add the vanilla extract and pure maple syrup.
Then add the warm spices to the coffee.
Use a milk frother to thoroughly mix the ingredients. Alternatively, you can combine in a small saucepan over medium heat to mix and dissolve the ingredients.
Frothed Milk
Pour the milk into a frothing pitcher, like this one (here), and heat the milk over low heat. If you do not have a frothing pitcher you can use a small saucepan. You want to warm the milk, but do not let it boil.
Once the milk is warm use a handheld frother to froth the milk.
Making a Delicious Latte
Pour the coffee mixture into your favorite mug.
Next, pour the frothed milk into the mug.
Add the light airy foam to the top of the latte, or top with fresh whipped cream.
Dust the top with ground cinnamon or gingerbread spice.
