Jameson Green Tea Recipe (Easy Whiskey Cocktail)

This Jameson green tea recipe is a simple cocktail made with Jameson Irish Whiskey that tastes just like actual green tea. We decided to take the classic green tea shot recipe and make it into a green tea cocktail.

Ingredients to Make a Jameson Green Tea Shot Cocktail

You should be able to gather these simple ingredients at your local liquor store. This recipe calls for:

• 1 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
• 1 oz peach flavor schnapps
• 1 oz storebought or homemade sour mix
• lemon-lime soda

You will also need a cocktail jigger, cocktail shaker, bar strainer, and a rocks glass. These can all be found online here:

How to Make a Green Tea Shooter Cocktail

When making any cocktail recipe you always want to start with the main ingredients. In this case, it’s the Jameson whiskey company Irish whiskey. Measure out the Jameson using a cocktail jigger. 

Then pour the Jameson into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. 

Add the schnapps to the shaker for a hint of peachy flavor. 

Next, add the sweet and sour mix. You can use storebought or homemade. Homemade is a simple combination of lemon juice and simple syrup. 

Pop the top on the cocktail shaker and give it a good shake.

Fill a mason jar or rocks glass with ice and use a bar strainer to pour the sweet-sour whiskey drink. 

Top the glass off with your favorite lemon-lime soda. (This should be around 3-4 ounces)

Jameson Green Tea Recipe 

This popular cocktail has a slightly greenish color and tastes like a cup of green tea. Squeeze a little fresh lime juice from a lime wedge and then garnish this refreshing cocktail with a slice of lime. 

The peach liqueur adds a light fruity flavor that gives this easy recipe the taste of a sweet peach green tea. This is also what makes this a great summer cocktail. 

If you prefer to turn this cocktail into tasty green tea shots simply pour the drink into shot glasses instead of a glass and top each shot glass with a splash of lemon-lime soda or a splash of sprite. The combination of ingredients surprisingly resembles green tea. Don’t confuse these party shots with white tea shots. White tea shots have similar ingredients with the main difference being the use of vodka instead of Jameson.
