Nutty Irishman Recipe Ingredients
To make these delicious shots you will only need two simple ingredients that you can easily get at the liquor store.
- 3/4 oz Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
- 3/4 oz Frangelico hazelnut liqueur

How to Make Nutty Irishman Bailey’s Irish Cream Shots
First, measure out the Frangelico hazelnut liqueur with a cocktail jigger. If you are unfamiliar with Frangelico, according to their site Frangelico has a “rich texture, pronounced but delicate hazelnut flavor with hints of vanilla and dark chocolate”. Fragelico is a perfect pairing to go with Bailey’s creamy liqueur.

Pour the Frangelico into the bottom of the shot glass.

Next, grab a cocktail spoon and slowly pour the Baileys over the back of the spoon into the shot glass.

If you are lucky, or with a little practice, the Baileys will float on top of the Frangelico in a first and second-layer fashion. If it doesn’t layer, don’t worry. The Nutty Irishman Baileys shot is delicious with or without the layered look.
