Duck Fart Shot Recipe Ingredients
You can make this easy Alaskan duck fart shot with just three simple ingredients. All you need is:
- 1/2 oz of Kahlua Coffee liqueur
- 1/2 oz Baileys Irish cream
- 1/2 oz Whiskey
You will also need a cocktail jigger and a few shot glasses.
How to Make a Delicious Layered Shot
Before making this layered shot cocktail recipe chill the bottles of liquor in the refrigerator. Keeping the ingredients cold will yield the best results when pouring the layers.
Depending on whether you are using a 1.5 oz shot glass or a larger shot glass fill the shot glass 1/3 of the way. Each layer of the different liquors of this layered shot recipe will be poured into equal thirds of the shot glass.
First, pour the coffee liqueur into the bottom of your shot glass. The coffee liqueur makes a nice dark bottom layer on these shots.
Next, pour the Baileys on top of the Kahlua one-third of the way up the shot glass. Use the back of a spoon to slowly pour the Irish cream liqueur. Make sure to pour slowly to create a clean middle layer.
The Bailey’s floats on top of the Kahlua creating a nice and clean visual appeal as well as a sweet creamy texture.
The last and top layer is the layer of whiskey. We are using Jameson Irish whiskey for these duck fart shots. You can use Jameson or Crown Royal Canadian whiskey. Use the spoon method again to slowly pour the whiskey over the back of the spoon onto the Baileys cream layer.
Duck Fart Delicious Shots
Despite the funny name of these shots, they are tasty and have a delicious flavor profile.
This sweet drink with different densities might take a little practice to perfect but will surely become one of your favorite shot recipes.
- 1 oz of Kahlua Coffee liqueur
- 1 oz Baileys Irish cream
- 1 oz Whiskey
- Chill ingredients prior to making shots.
- Pour Kahlua 1/3 of the way into a shot glass.
- Then use the back of a spoon to pour Baileys irish cream over the Kahlua. Pour slowly to maintain a clean second layer.
- Use the spoon method again and pour the whiskey layer on top of the Baileys.
Pour each liquor 1/3 of the way in the shot glass. Each shot contain equal 1/3 parts of each ingredient. Depending on the size of the shot glass the amount of oz for each liquor will vary.
