Golden Ginger Turmeric Drink Ingredients
Rather than use pineapple ginger syrup, or artificial ingredients to make this drink, this ingredient list is full of fresh natural ingredients. You will need:
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 Tbsp raw honey
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger root
- 2 tsp ground turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
You will also need a high-speed blender. This is the blender that we have and love. It works great for all of your drink-making, smoothies, and blending needs: blender.
Golden Ginger Blend with Turmeric
First, start with full-fat coconut milk. Coconut milk is loaded with healthy fats and medium-chain fatty acids. It is said to have anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal properties. Pour the coconut milk into the blender.
Next, add the pineapple juice. Pineapple juice is full of bromelain which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, reducing pain and swelling, and improving digestion. You can use store-bought pineapple juice or fresh juiced pineapple. See how to juice a pineapple.
Then add the fresh grated ginger to the blender. Ginger has been used for generations for its natural medicinal properties. It has been known to possibly treat respiratory problems, aid in digestion, and improve the immune system.
Next, add the honey. Make sure to use raw, unfiltered honey. Local is also great because it could help with allergies.
Add the golden spice, turmeric to the blender. If you can find fresh turmeric then definitely use it. Otherwise, turmeric powder works great. Like the other ingredients in this superfood golden drink, the benefits of turmeric are extensive. Turmeric, and its active ingredient curcumin, may have anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antioxidant, and other amazing beneficial properties.
Some theories say that the active components of turmeric are activated by the addition of black pepper. You can add a pinch of black pepper to the blender if you’d like.
Lastly, add the ground cinnamon to the blender. Studies suggest that cinnamon may help improve gut health, support blood sugar control, protect against heart disease, and reduce inflammation.
It may not look like much just yet but this drink will make your taste buds happy while possibly improving your health at the same time. Win-win.
Blend in the blender until fully combined. About a minute or so.
Pour the golden ginger drink into an ice-filled glass or mason jar and enjoy.

The natural flavors of the coconut, pineapple, and ginger create a perfect balance that awakens the tastebuds. This drink resembles a refreshing Pina colada without the alcohol.
Next time you think of going to Starbucks for golden milk lattes think about making the real thing at home instead.
