How to Make a Starbucks Mango Dragonfruit Refresher
When it’s a hot day and you crave the tropical flavors of a mango dragonfruit Starbucks refresher but don’t want to drive to the local Starbucks, don’t worry, you don’t have to. You can make this Starbucks copycat recipe that tastes just like the original drink.
The Starbucks dragonfruit drink recipe along with its nutritional information can be found right on the Starbucks website. The original recipe is made with ice, mango dragonfruit refresher base (water, sugar, white grape juice concentrate, natural flavors, citric acid, natural green coffee flavor), and freeze-dried dragon fruit pieces. Our copycat mango dragon fruit refresher recipe is just slightly different.
The ingredients for this recipe are as follows:
- 1/4 cup filtered water
- 1/2 cup mango juice
- 1 cup ice
- 1 tsp freeze-dried dragon fruit powder
- 1 Tbsp freeze-dried dragon fruit pieces
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1/2 tsp of green tea extract (or green coffee extract) – optional
Directions for Making a Copycat Starbucks Refresher
In a small bowl or dish combine the teaspoon of dragonfruit powder, the freeze-dried fruit pieces, and the green tea extract. The green tea extract is optional. If you can’t find green tea extract you can also use green coffee bean extract or green coffee bean powder. Of course, you should be able to find most of these ingredients at your local grocery store or health food stores, but if not then you can grab them online here: green tea extract, and green coffee bean extract.
Add the raw honey.
Next, add the mango juice. It may be difficult to find 100% mango juice. Many brands tend to add extra things like lemon juice or apple juice. You can find mango puree that is mixed with only water, like this one here: mango juice.
Add the filtered water.
Fill a drinking glass or mason jar with ice cubes.
Pour the vibrant pink drink into your ice-filled glass.
Drop a straw into your glass. Serve and enjoy you homemade copycat Starbucks mango dragonfruit refresher recipe.
