Baileys White Russian Recipe

This white Russian recipe with Baileys is a classic Baileys and vodka cocktail. It’s made with Bailey’s Irish cream liqueur, your favorite vodka, and espresso. Enjoy this classic cocktail served over ice in a rocks glass.

What Goes Into Making a Classic White Russian with Baileys?

This classic drink is made with 3 main ingredients: 

• 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
• 2 oz Classic Vodka
• 2 oz Espresso 
• Optional – Cherries for garnish 

You will also need a cocktail jigger. If you don’t have one you can grab one online here: cocktail jigger.

Bailey’s White Russian Cocktail Recipe

First, fill your glass with ice cubes. Then add chilled espresso to the glass. This is our favorite way to make our own espresso: Easy Aeropress Espresso Recipe. 

Next, add your favorite vodka. 

Measure the Baileys using the cocktail jigger. 

Then pour the Baileys Irish cream into the glass.

It’s that easy to make this Baileys white Russian cocktail. All it needs is a quick stir and a little garnish. 

A Delicious Cocktail for the Happy Hour or the Holiday Season 

Garnish this creamy cocktail with a few cherries or cocoa powder and enjoy. 

This decadent cocktail is the best drink if you love Baileys combined with the coffee flavors of espresso. You can also garnish with candy canes for a fun twist and add this to your list of favorite Christmas cocktails. 

We would like to mention that there is more than one way to make a white Russian cocktail. Another delicious alternative to making a white Russian is to combine Kahlua coffee liqueur, with vodka and heavy cream.

And, you can have a lot of fun making different cocktail recipes simply by swapping out one ingredient for another. For example, if you replace the espresso in this Baileys white Russian recipe it becomes a mudslide, which is an entirely new recipe in itself. And if you combine Kahlua with vodka it becomes a black Russian. But that’s for another day. So many cocktails, so little time.
