- 1 banana, frozen in advance
- 1/2 tsp vanilla bean powder
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 Tbsp cacao powder

Delicious Coffee Smoothie Recipe
The first thing that you need for this delicious smoothie is cold brew coffee. You have options for this part and you don’t need a cold brew coffee maker. We are using our Aeropress coffee recipe to get the best strong coffee flavor. You can actually use regular coffee, cold brew coffee concentrate, or even instant coffee. The point is to go with whatever is easiest for you.
Whichever you choose, make sure the coffee is cold or at least room temperature. If you use hot coffee, then you will need ice and the ice can change the taste of the smoothie by watering down the flavors. Pour the coffee into the blender.
Next, add the frozen banana. We like to cut up and freeze bananas in individual-size snack bags. One banana per baggie. We find that using ice cubes can water down the smoothie more than necessary. Using frozen bananas or coffee ice cubes are a great replacement for regular ice cubes.
Add your favorite milk to the blender. We are using cashew milk, but you can use coconut milk, oat milk, or vanilla almond milk.
Add the honey simple syrup and the rest of the ingredients. If you do not have vanilla bean powder, you can use vanilla extract. The measurement would change: 1/2 tsp of vanilla bean powder = 1 tsp vanilla extract.
If you would like to add a boost of protein and make this a cold brew protein smoothie you can add your favorite protein powder as well to the blender.
Blend until smooth and enjoy this coffee lovers easy breakfast cold brew smoothie recipe.
